For this exercise we were asked to create a Space Marine character in the usual workflow of silhouette to detailed greyscale character. Immediately a Space Marine to me tends to remind me of Bulky, Over-sized Men in really chunky armor that is spattered with the battleground so I decided to base my design around that. I think the result could have done better in terms of lighting since it looks like a cardboard cut-out, but I think the design turned out well.
